Libraries across Clare now have laptops and tablets available for use by members of the public in library branches. This equipment was made available by a recent grant from the Department of Rural & Community Affairs, from which Clare Libraries received funding of €110,115.29 to provide new computers, laptops, iPads and other ICT equipment. This was part of an overall €1.3 million package for public libraries across the country.
