Cathaoirleach of Clare County Council, Cllr Joe Cooney, has welcomed the announcement of funding of €292,070 for 7 community groups and schools in County Clare, under the CLÁR programme.

The Clare Local Area Grant Scheme (CLAGS) 2024 is a Council-led grant scheme that provides funding for local communities to assist them with various projects that fall within the relevant categories of the scheme.

Clare County Council held a Civic Reception on Thursday 11th January, to mark the outstanding achievements in 2023 by Newmarket Celtic FC’s Senior Men’s team.
