A renewed development strategy for rural Clare aims to unlock potential across a wide range of areas to improve the lives of people living and working in Clare’s rural communities.

Clare County Council, in partnership with Transport Infrastructure Ireland and the Department of Transport, have today (Friday, 10th March, 2023) published a Design Update for the N19 Shannon Airport Access Road Improvement Scheme.

The theme of the 2023 St Patrick’s Day Parade is ‘Communities in action’.  An invitation is extended to all Clare people to gather in Ennis to celebrate our national holiday.   

Met Eireann have issued an Orange snow and ice warning for County Clare from today, Thursday 9th March, until 10.00am tomorrow, Friday 10th March.

Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sports and Media, Catherine Martin TD, and Minister of State with responsibility for Local Government and Planning, Kieran O’Donnell TD, announced the roll-out of 31 new local authority Creative Ireland Culture and Creativity Strategies (2023-2027) at an event at Farmleigh in the Phoenix Park on 23rd February, 2023.
