We are pleased to announce that the Community Supports Scheme is now open for 2019 applications.
The purpose of the Council’s Community Supports Scheme is to encourage and assist community and voluntary groups to take an active part in the development of their communities and to improve the quality of life experience in their areas.
Clare County Library and St. Joseph’s Secondary School, Spanish Point have joined forces to promote reading for pleasure among students.
Members of the public are being asked for their input into a new Arts Plan for County Clare focusing on promoting greater participation in the arts.
We are currently preparing the 2019 – 2024 Clare Arts Plan.
Submissions to the plan from artists of all disciplines and members of the public are welcome.

Following a Status Orange Weather Warning from Met Éireann, Clare County Council is warning members of the public in County Clare to avoid exposed coastal locations during Wednesday due to forecast stormy conditions.
Clare County Council has announced that free parking will be provided at all public car parks in Ennis from 3pm commencing on Friday 7th December 2018 on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturday up to and including Saturday 5th January 2019 as part of efforts to promote Christmas and New Year shopping in Ennis.
