The Land of Olives - Art Exhibition by Marianne Potterton
Clare Arts Office in conjunction with Clare Museum is delighted to present “The Land of Olives”, an art exhibition by Marianne Potterton.
Marianne Potterton is a visual artist based in Doolin Co. Clare. She graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Painting from Crawford College of Art and a Masters in Europe Fine Art in Barcelona through Southampton University.
Though her first love is painting, her practice spans across and connects a diverse range of disciplines, bridging ways of making and seeing; from painting and poetry to long distance walking, interventions in the landscape and working with found materials.
Some of Potterton's most recent exhibitions have included LIDO Open 2025, The Lido Stores Margate, U.K. Forging Wild a three person Show in The Courthouse Gallery, Ennistymon curated by Simon Fennessy Corcoran(2024), Beyond Brushstrokes Between Matter and Memory curated by Sara Foust in The Burren College of Art and The Courthouse Gallery Ennistymon (2024) & Walks from the Pollock Holes to Santiago one person show in Cultúrlann Sweeney, Kilkee.
