The Wild West comes to Scariff
Clare County Arts Service has announced an art exhibition inspired by the West Clare coast at Scariff Library from 6 August.
‘Inspired by the Wild West’ is a textile exhibition by Kim Thittichai, a textile tutor, artist and author with four published books on the market.
Kim moved from the bright lights and chaotic traffic of Brighton on the English south coast, to the Loop Head Peninsula townland of Fodra one year ago. Living close to Ross Bay and now teaching in her studio in Fodra and online, Kim has developed a fascination with the variety of seaweed that is to be discovered there, the exciting colors, textures and forms.
