Public Consultation on Draft Clare County Council (Prohibition of Overnight Camping on Roads and in Public Places in Lisdoonvarna) Bye-Laws 2023
Clare County Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Part 19 of the Local Government Act 2001 hereby gives notice of its intention to make bye-laws for the prohibition of overnight camping on roads and in public places in Lisdoonvarna.
A draft set of bye-laws, entitled the “Draft Clare County Council (Prohibition of Overnight Camping on Roads and in Public Places in Lisdoonvarna) Bye-Laws 2023” has been prepared and may be inspected during normal opening hours from 5th May 2023 to 6th June, 2023 at the Transportation Department, Clare County Council, Áras Contae an Chláir, New Road, Ennis, Co. Clare as well as in the West Clare Municipal District Office’s in Ennistymon and Kilrush and are attached below.
Submissions or observations with respect to draft bye-laws may be made by email to roads@clarecoco.ie, or in writing to the Administrative Officer, Transportation, Clare County Council, Àras Contae an Chlàir, New Road, Ennis, Co. Clare, on or before 4.00pm on 14th June, 2023.
