Cathaoirleach of Clare County Council, Cllr Alan O’Callaghan, has welcomed the announcement of €693,130 in funding for 15 community groups and schools across County Clare under the CLÁR (Ceantair Laga Árd-Riachtanais) 2024 Programme.

Following on from the success of last year’s event, Clare Older People’s Council, part of Clare County Council’s Age Friendly County Programme, will again host this year’s Health and Wellbeing Age Expo on Thursday, 3 October at Treacy’s West County Hotel, Ennis from 11am to 4pm.

Clare County Council is the first Local Authority in Ireland to be awarded Platinum for Excellence Through People (ETP) by the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI).
