Councillor Alan O’Callaghan (Fianna Fáil) has been elected Cathaoirleach of Clare County Council during the annual general meeting of the Council on Friday, 21st June, 2024.
Applications are now open for the prestigious 2024 National Age Friendly Recognition and Achievement Awards. The awards, curated by Age Friendly Ireland, are open to organisations, agencies, and members of the public in County Clare who are driving initiatives to make Ireland a great place to grow old.
Clare County Council has begun the process of working with communities in Kilrush, Lisdoonvarna and Tulla to establish Town Teams, and will similarly work with the community of Clarecastle in the coming weeks.
