A tourism delegation led by Clare County Council and members of the Clare Tourism Advisory Forum will promote the Banner County as a desirable visitor destination to over 120,000 festival goers at Milwaukee Irish Fest in Wisconsin this weekend.
The Cathaoirleach of Clare County Council, Cllr Tony O’Brien, has welcomed the announcement of funding of €481,468 for 10 community groups, sports clubs, and schools in County Clare, under the CLÁR programme Measure 1.
The ‘Be Summer Ready’ campaign is part of the Government of Ireland initiative to provide information to the general public on issues which may affect them during the summer months in Ireland.
Clare County Council is delighted to announce that a wealth of events are taking place in Clare during National Heritage Week 2022, with more than 70 events registered by heritage groups throughout the county to date. Heritage Week takes place from Saturday, 13th August, to Sunday, 21st August, 2022, and has become one of Ireland’s largest cultural events.
Ahead of the expected high temperatures in Ireland, Clare County Council is advising members of the public to be aware of a number of key safety messages.
The artisan crafts and produce of County Clare will be showcased at the Cliffs of Moher Experience as part of a series of daily events running throughout National Heritage Week from Saturday 13th August to Saturday 20th August.
The Cathaoirleach of Clare County Council, Cllr Tony O’Brien, has welcomed the announcement of funding of €171k for seven outdoor amenity projects in County Clare.
The projects were included in a recent funding announcement (3rd August, 2022) by Minister for Rural and Community Development, Heather Humphreys TD, of almost €6 million to develop 200 outdoor adventure projects across rural Ireland.
Clare County Council is seeking to complement its hedge-cutting programme this autumn by facilitating landowners and community groups in maintaining hedgerows throughout County Clare.
