Clare is Leading the Charge by Mapping the Skills and Talent of the Region for Increased Employment Opportunities and to Attract New Business.

Clare County Council today launched a new initiative in partnership with Irish technology company, Abodoo, aimed at mapping the talent and skills of those living and working in Clare. The aim of the project is to develop ongoing live skills mapping for the county, align with Clare’s growing international business profile and showcase the broad talent Clare has to offer. The work will leverage Abodoo’s AI skills data information technology in order to identify the skills that exist within Clare and thus enable greater inward investment in the County.

Clare people at home and abroad invited to come together virtually to celebrate St Patrick’s Day 2021 online

This year, Clare County Council is organising and presenting an online St Patrick’s Day event with the theme of ‘Connecting Clare’, and everyone can get involved.

The Council is inviting Clare people at home and abroad to celebrate St Patrick’s Day together, by actively participating in the online event or by joining in on the day as a member of our global audience.

Mayor welcomes €88,250 in ORIS 2020 funding for rural outdoor amenities

The Mayor of Clare, Cllr Mary Howard, has welcomed the recent announcement by the Minister for Rural and Community Development, Heather Humphreys TD, of €88,250 in funding under the Outdoor Recreation and Infrastructure Scheme (ORIS) 2020 (Measure 1) for five projects in County Clare. These projects are among 173 projects in the country to benefit from €3.2 million in funding announced by the Minister on January 18th under the ORIS.
