"Clare Interactive" an Exhibition by Cathal Butler
Clare Arts Office in conjunction with Clare Museum, is delighted to present "Clare Interactive”' by Cathal Butler, in conjunction with Hitechniques (Dublin) and Treacys Hotel (Ennis) and the background music in the vr tours is by the Pub Runners (Michigan) USA.
Cathal is an artist, registered as a professional member with VAI (Visual artists Ireland) and works from Tulla Stables Art Studios in Tulla, Co Clare. He mainly does landscapes (in oils) and has done several collections for hotels around the country. He has previously exhibited at the Scarriff Library Gallery, in Scarriff and the Clare Museum in Ennis and the Cultúrlann Sweeney Gallery in Kilkee Co Clare.
Cathal’s art exhibition offers a captivating journey to the landscapes of County Clare, featuring stunning paintings of Ennis, Clarecastle and Tulla to name a few. Each piece not only captures the beauty of these locations but also includes a unique interactive element i.e. each painting has a QR code and by scanning the QR code visitors can access a virtual tour of the exact location that inspired each painting, creating an immersive and enriched experience. The blend of traditional art and modern technology allows viewers to engage with Cathal's art on a deeper level exploring the scenic beauty of County Clare both on canvas and virtually.
