Power Up Grant
The Power Up Grant was financial support to assist businesses in the hospitality and retail sectors during 2024.
What was the Power up Grant?
The Government announced the Power Up Grant as part of Budget 25 for businesses in the retail and hospitality sector. The Power Up Grant had a budget of €170 million and the individual grant to eligible businesses was €4,000.
Who was eligible for Power Up?
There were categories of qualifying businesses:
- A business that received the second payment of ICOB and continued to meet the ICOB criteria
- Businesses in the hospitality and retail sector that did not have a rates bill in 2023 may have qualified if they met the criteria
Closing date for registration was Friday 22nd November 2024
Clare County Council emailed businesses who may have been eligible for the Power Up Grant. The email included details of how to register.
