Rural & Community Development Officers

The team work with community groups of all sizes, local and regional organisations and other engaged parties, building the capacity of voluntary community leaders and organisations to identify and implement projects, which will provide their areas with an identifiable comparative advantage.  

Projects have a particular focus on the LECP (Local Economic and Community Plan) and the Clare Rural Development Strategy. This work is underpinned by engagement that is based on community development principles and practices.
