Proposed Section 38 traffic calming measures at Bodyke
Notice is hereby given that Clare County Council, pursuant of Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act 1994, propose to install the following traffic calming measures:
On the R-352/L4066 Junction and the R-352/R-465 Junctions at Coolready, Bodyke, Co.Clare.
R-352 & L-4066 Junction at Bodyke Village
Construction of a raised table through the junction of the R-352 and L-4066 junction with uncontrolled pedestrian crossing points, footpath buildout, installation of tactile paving, kerbing, all associated signs and road markings.
An advance zebra crossing, build outs and associated line marking and signage are also proposed in advance of this junction
R-352 & R-465 Junction at Bodyke Village
It is proposed that the traffic calming with include a raised Zebra crossing with tightening of the existing R-352 and R-465 Junction, proposals of new footpath works along with line markings and signage.
Plans and Particulars of the proposed development are attached below and will be available until Monday 11th November 2024.
