Proposed Section 38 traffic calming measures at Station Road, Ennis
Notice is hereby given that Clare County Council, pursuant to the provisions of Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act 1994, propose to install the following traffic calming measures on:
Station Road R469 between its junction with Bothar na Trócaire/Friars Walk/Old Gaol Road to the Cathedral at Ennis Co. Clare
The works will involve construction of a raised controlled pedestrian crossing facility, installation of a raised table and modifications to existing footpaths and kerblines.
Associated works shall include landscaping, drainage, installation of new kerbs, dropped kerbs and tactile paving together with modifications to / installation of all necessary traffic signs, bollards and road markings and road reinstatement thereafter.
Plans and particulars for the proposed development are attached below are will be available until Monday 4th November 2024
