Proposed temporary road closure at High Street, Ennis
Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 of Clare County Council’s intention to close the road detailed hereunder for the period stated to facilitate the excavation of existing footpaths and carriageway surface, new and replacement of underground services and utilities, replacing of existing public lighting columns and lanterns with new columns and lanterns, replacing footpaths, resurfacing of existing carriageway surfaces with natural stone and asphalt, new signage and road markings
Road to be closed:
High Street, Ennis, from Harvey’s Quay/Salt House Lane to Bank Place/O’ Connell Square
Date and time of closure:
From 06th January 2025 to 31st July 2025. 24 Hour Closure
Alternative routes / diversions:
There will be no through road from Salt House Lane to Bank Place/Abbey St for the duration of the closure. Diversion route from Harvey’s Quay via Old Friary Lane
