Proposed temporary road closure R466 Broadford Village to O'Briensbridge
Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 of Clare County Council’s intention to close the roads detailed hereunder for the period stated to facilitate embankment protection works.
Roads to be closed:
R-466 Broadford Village to O’Briensbridge
Date and time of closures:
Monday 15th July 2024 to Friday 19thJuly 2024 (8:00 am to 6:00 pm daily).
Alternative routes / diversions;
Diversions for traffic travelling Southbound from Broadford village will be diverted onto the R-465 to Carmody’s Cross, at Carmody’s Cross traffic will be diverted along the R-471 towards Clonlara and via R-463 to O’Briensbridge
Diversions for traffic Travelling Northbound at O’Briensbridge will be diverted on the R-463 towards Clonlara. Traffic will then be diverted from Clonlara to Carmody’s Cross via the R-471, at Carmody’s Cross traffic will be diverted via the R-465 to Broadford village
Local access shall be provided for the duration of the project. A diversion route map is attached below.
