Disabled parking permits
Disabled Parking Permits are administered by the Disabled Drivers Association (www.ddai.ie) and the Irish Wheelchair Association (www.iwa.ie).
They grant permits to people with certain disabilities.
A valid and in-date disabled parking permit allows the owner of the permit to park for free, regardless of who is driving them, in public car parking spaces that display the Disabled Driver's Logo.
Permits are issued for a 2-year period.
Please refer to the Disabled Parking Permit Scheme on the web site of the Irish Wheelchair Association.
