Update: Temporary Covid-19 Town Centre Mobility Plan for Ennis

The Temporary Covid-19 Town Centre Mobility Plan for Ennis was introduced by Clare County Council solely in response to Covid-19 and in line with Government guidelines on social distancing. The plan is designed to support residents, the business community and all citizens to access Ennis town in a safe, socially distanced environment as the town centre is characterised by narrow streetscapes and interconnected laneways with restrictive footpath widths.

Culture Night 2020 will see a myriad of cultural events being held virtually across Clare throughout the evening from 4.00pm.

Funding available for heritage projects in Clare

Kildysart Library Covid-19 update: contact and collect service to commence in September

Clare County Library Service has overseen the planned re-opening of most library service points since June and had planned to re-open the part-time library in Kildysart in September. However, as part of the Government’s Covid-19 response plan for the safe re-opening of schools and The Roadmap for the Full Return to School, Clare County Library Service was approached by St John Bosco Community School with a request to cede the library space in Kildysart to the school as a classroom for the coming year.
