Foundations exhibition at Cultúrlann Sweeney
A visual art exhibition by artist Séan Walsh will be opened at Cultúrlann Sweeney Kilkee on Monday next (13 August).
Séan, a graduate of Dublin College of Art & A.T.C., will exhibit his artworks which are borne out of his lifelong interest in the environment.
Describing Séan’s work, Clare Arts Office said, “While themes may vary, all seek to find creative satisfaction through organising a solid foundation. The interrelationship of spaces forms the foundation of any good work and must be presented in such a way so as to satisfy the basic human desire for order. All shapes have a geometric value and when one is placed beside another a dynamic is created that is either pleasing or not and it is this dynamic that Séan explores in his paintings.”
The exhibition runs from 13 August to 31 August and all are invited to attend.
