Clare County Library Service has overseen the planned re-opening of most library service points since June and had planned to re-open the part-time library in Kildysart in September. However, as part of the Government’s Covid-19 response plan for the safe re-opening of schools and The Roadmap for the Full Return to School, Clare County Library Service was approached by St John Bosco Community School with a request to cede the library space in Kildysart to the school as a classroom for the coming year. 

Ennis native, Henry Butler, brings his recent work to the Clare Museum in Ennis from 31st August to 26th September, 2020.

Clare Fire and Rescue Service attended to 42 call-outs last night. There are some roads closed, primarily in east Clare. 

Clare County Council wishes to clarify that the Temporary Covid-19 Town Centre Mobility Plan for Ennis has been introduced solely in response to Covid-19 and in line with Government guidelines on social distancing.

Clare County Council has issued a weather warning in advance of forecasted storm conditions this evening and tonight and during the early part of Thursday.

Clare County Council is seeking to complement its hedge-cutting programme this autumn by facilitating landowners and community groups in maintaining hedgerows throughout County Clare.
