A new initiative from the Office of the Cathaoirleach in Clare County Council will celebrate good deeds done by people in Clare during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Age Friendly Clare ‘Digital Nursing Home Initiative’ has been launched with the aim of keeping residents in our 16 nursing homes connected, using technology to bring the outside in.
Shannon Municipal District (MD), Clare County Council, in conjunction with elected members from Shannon Town and community groups, is delighted to support a new grassland management initiative. This pilot initiative will enhance biodiversity in Shannon Town and will include the introduction of five new pollinator sites.
Clare County Council will host a Covid-19 Ceremony of Remembrance and Reflection at Áras Contae an Chláir on Sunday, 20th March, at 3:00pm. The ceremony has been organised in collaboration with the HSE and An Garda Síochána.
Clare County Council has been allocated €4,042,793 towards the Ennis Town Centre Public Realm Regeneration Project which will lead to a rejuvenation of key Town Centre streetscapes.
Clare County Council and An Garda Síochána have jointly appealed to people in Clare to adhere to Level 5 Covid-19 restrictions on St Patrick's Day, after public health officials warned people against congregating to socialise or participate in gatherings that might infringe public health rules.
The Cathaoirleach of Clare County Council, Cllr Mary Howard, has welcomed the announcement by the Minister for Rural and Community Development, Heather Humphreys TD, of €200,000 in funding under the Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Scheme (ORIS) 2020 (Measure 2) for two projects in County Clare.
Applications are now invited for the 2021 Community Heritage Grant Scheme
