Extension to temporary road closure L2048 at Glenmore
Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 of Clare County Council’s decision to extend the closure of the road detailed hereunder for the period stated to facilitate the upgrade of power cables.
Road to be closed:
L2048-42 to L2048-61 between Glenmore Cross, Kilmihil and Cahermurphy Cross, Kilmihil.
Extended date:
Extended until 11th April 2025. Works will require a 24 hour road closure. Local access maintained at all times.
Alternative routes / diversions;
L2082 (3 cross roads at Cahermurphy School to 3 cross roads at Castlepark), L6188 (from the 3 cross roads at Castlepark via Kiltumper to 4 cross roads at O’Deas Cross Knockmore), L6192 ( from the 4 cross roads at O’Deas cross Knockmore to the 3 cross roads at Glenmore cross). A diversion route map is attached below.
