Proposed temporary road closure at Hill Road, Shantraud, Killaloe
Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 of Clare County Council’s intention to close the road detailed hereunder for the period stated to facilitate road widening works.
Road to be closed:
L-3078 (Hill Road), Shantraud, Co.Clare
Date and time of closures:
Wednesday 10th July 2024 to Tuesday 23rd July 2024 (24 hour closure).
Alternative routes / diversions;
Diversions for traffic travelling Eastbound are to take L-7102 towards Garraunboy and take a left at Garraunboy Church towards Killaloe via the L-7080 and turn left on to L-3076 (Creeveroe Road).
Traffic travelling Westbound shall turn left from Thomas Street onto Crossroads, turn right on to L-3076 (Creeveroe Road) then turn right on to L-7080 towards Garraunboy. Turn right at Garraunboy Church on to L-7102 in order to access L-3078 (Hill Road)
A diversion route map is attached below. Local access shall be provided for the duration of the project.
