Proposed temporary road closure R487-4 Strand Line Kilkee
Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 of Clare County Council’s intention to close the road detailed hereunder for the period stated to facilitate the “Kilkee by the Sea” festival.
Road to be closed:
R-487-4 at the Strand Line Kilkee. From junction with the L-2009 (Carrigaholt Road Roundabout) to junction with the L-2021-0 (end of one-way system at Nolan’s Cross).
Date and time of closure:
27th July 2024 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 11.59 p.m. Local access / Emergency access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes / diversions;
L-2009-900 (Circular Road), L-2015- 900 (Chapel Street). A diversion route map is attached below.
